Python Job: Python Web Developer - Remoto

Description

Our client is a leading company focused on online development projects for hotel chains and independent hotels. It is a company that invests in technology, in which you will be able to participate in very challenging projects with the main hotel chains in Europe, Asia and America. They are looking for a Backend Developer.

Responsabilities:

• Taking an active role on both design and technical implementation sides and defining how the website looks as well as how it works
• Creating and maintaining new web components to reuse existing libraries and code
• Taking a key role within the quality assurance phase before launching a new website to production
• Thinking in how we can improve technologies and processes to increase the quality of our websites, as well as the time-to-market. You must be obsessed with velocity, quality and technology improvements
• Be part of a team-making decisions, to determine the product roadmap jointly with the Product Owner
• Participate in very challenging projects with top hotel chains from Europe, Asia and America, from the idea to the delivery

Requirements:

• 
  Proven web programming experience, and demonstrable skills with a strong portfolio. We will ask you to present some of your done work during the selection process
• +3 years professional experience in Python and Django
• Experience with Javascript
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Linux environments
• Experience with Git
• HTML5, JQuery is important because our applications are based on these technologies
• You have to feel comfortable working with databases (PostgreSQL)
• Good programming best-practices, such continuous integration, unit testing generation, code repositories, log management, code comments and documentation …
• Communication skills, you will be working with other teams based in remote locations.
• You will be part of a team, so, what is important is the team success, not the individual success
• Desirable Fluent English written and spoken
• Agile/Scrum notions
